  2. What is ﾒ7Tuner Rescuerﾓ:

This utility program automatically restores your old system files (the untuned copies) or backup system files if your machine does not restart successfully. In addition, if your tuning process is successful but you want to completely discard 7Tuner's options, this program also allows you to restore the original system files easily.

  5. How to use it:
  6. To rescue your original system files, restart your machine by using the Disk Tools Disk as the startup disk, run ﾒ7Tuner Rescuer,ﾓ and click ﾒRescueﾓ button. Once the rescue process is done, your machine will be restarted automatically.

  8. Where are the files the Rescuer needs:
  9. 7Tuner Rescuer first searches ﾒOld System Filesﾓ folder in your Trash, then ﾒ7Tuner System Backupsﾓ in your System Folder for the System, Finder, and/or enabler files. If both sets of files are found, 7Tuner Rescuer will give you an option to choose which file location you want to restore from (e.g. from Trash or System Folder). Otherwise, 7Tuner Rescuer will select a file set that is available in your startup volume.

  11. System Backup files:

If you delete the old system files in the Trash after the tuning process, you must have the backup files and you must create the System files backup first in order for ﾒ7Tuner Rescuerﾓ to restore the files. If the system backup files were not found, ﾒ7Tuner Rescuerﾓ cannot perform its rescue mission. To create system files backup, select ﾒMake System Backupﾓ from the ﾒActionﾓ menu before you perform the tuning process.

  14. How about I need to rescue my system but I do not have the old system files nor system backup files:

Before running ﾒ7Tuner Rescuer,ﾓ open your System Folder, create a folder called ﾒ7Tuner System Backupsﾓ if the folder does not exist. Copy System, Finder, and/or system enabler from your archive. Rename System to ﾒSystem backup,ﾓ Finder to ﾒFinder backup,ﾓ and/or enabler to ﾒEnabler backup.ﾓ Run Rescuer to perform the rescue process.
